Catherine's Trip Mountaintop Camping

A three-day trip that includes everything, meals, water transfers, guides, mountaintop camping, Wadi Jebal, and visiting the distinctive valleys of Mount Catherine

Participants must have previous hiking experience or high physical fitness

Details of Catherine's Trip March 31st, the first day of Eid at night - 3 days / 2 nights Departure from Cairo Monday at midnight Arrival in Catherine in the early hours Breakfast and rest in a camp equipped with bathrooms, electricity, and a network and preparation for the start of hiking to Wadi Jebal Arrival in Wadi Jebal before sunset Lunch (grilled chicken/kofta/bread/tahini/rice or pasta) Overnight in a simple garden on mattresses on the garden land in a sleeping bag with a simple bathroom

The second day
Breakfast then start ascending Mount Catherine Arriving at the summit before afternoon and enjoying being on the highest peak in Egypt and watching the sunset over the summit and preparing dinner (grilled chicken/kofta/bread/tahini/rice or pasta). At the summit, there is a closed room for girls to sleep in a sleeping bag, jacket, thermal pants, and heavy socks

The third day
Watching the sunrise from the top of the summit and the beginning of the descent of the mountain, arriving at the beginning of Wadi Al-Arbaeen, Uncle Ramadan's garden, breakfast (beans / white cheese / Halawa / jam / bread), rest until 4 pm, then heading back to Fox Camp and waiting for the microbus to return to Cairo around 12 midnight

The cost per person is 4400 EGP, including:
- Transfers to and from Cairo
- Bedouin guide
- Internal transfers
- Camel carrying the sleeping bag and jacket to the top of the summit
- Meals (3 breakfasts, 2 lunches)
- Permit and ticket fees

Does not include: Sleeping bag (can be rented for 350 EGP during the trip)

The hike distance is 12 km, ascent and arrival to the camping site.
The altitude distance is 2600 meters above sea level, the actual altitude is approximately 1600 meters above the city of Saint Catherine.
